Life is full of fleeting moments that shape us and give us perspective on what it means to be alive. I believe that humans, by nature, are emotive beings and we all seek ways of expressing ourselves. Filmmaking has presented itself to me as a natural form of expression and has been a way for me to translate my experiences into something tangible. I hope to inspire people to care for the world around them and for the people in their lives. To live out their own story with inspiration and passion for what they do.
I studied film production at Brooks Institute of Photography in Ventura California then registered Voortex Productions in 2004. Since, I owned and operated a video store, a coffee shop then taught film production at Wenatchee Valley Tech for 4 years, all the while, freelancing under Voortex Productions in the background. In 2013 I resigned from teaching and took Voortex Productions on as a full time endeavor.
I consider it a privilege to help showcase the tales of our time while exploring the essence of each story.
